So it shows that this angel is coming on official business from heaven. He is coming clothed in the official garb. That means this is serious and he comes in the authority of God. Now, secondly, it says, and the rainbow was upon his head.

What’s the significance of the rainbow? Hm? Do you remember Noah? Many of you got it.

The rainbow was God’s symbol of a covenant. And what was that covenant? He would never destroy the world again by water. And he did it by establishing a new ecology.

Did you know that? Before the flood, what was true of the earth? There was no rain. It never rained before the flood.

So that means there was a different ecological system. And it shows us that as a matter of fact. Mankind had it very easy before the flood because God set up his own irrigation system, his own sprinkler system. It said he caused the mists to come up from the ground to water all the plants.

Every day. But after the flood, he reestablished a new order where there would be clouds, cumulus, and it would accumulate rain in the clouds, and it would rain on the earth. But the infraction of light through the moisture causes what? A rainbow.

So he wanted man to know that, yes, there’s going to be a new order in ecology and you’re going to see clouds and you’re going to see some real rain, but

Wouldn’t be very exciting. In other words, love is inherently based on the freedom to not love. And so God created mankind to have the freedom and the emotion to understand love, that he wanted a creature that could love him back. Now, we never loved him first.

We could only love him back. And John says that. Here in his love, not that we love God but that he first loved us and gave his son to be the satisfaction for our sins. Someone asked me one time, what is worship?

And I thought about it, and I think about some of the efforts that we go to to worship God, and I’ve seen people have hymns where they repeat the same thing and get you into this. And they think that’s worship because you’re getting mesmerized. That isn’t worship. That’s not worship at all.

Worship in its simplest form is loving God back. And you can’t love God back until you know how much he loves you. You following me? You can’t.

You can only really worship God when you understand and embrace what he did for you. And that’s part of the mystery. Anyway, I didn’t get into all that detail with fred, but I said, fred, look, God created man with the ability to choose. And God is sovereign.

He won’t go back on a decision. And man used that freedom to rebel against him and reject the relationship. At that point, God was under no obligation to do anything. He could have just let man wind out to his own destruction forever.

But because God is love, he immediately initiated a plan wherein he would become a man and take our place, live a perfect life, then take our place and die in our place for our rebellion so that not based on human merit but purely on his grace, he would give us forgiveness if we would accept it as a gift. In order to get man the opportunity to accept that, he has to put up with all the bad choices of the evil people who will not accept it. So I said, you want to know why the holocaust happened? It’s because God put up with evil men so that time could continue and more people would have the opportunity to accept the gift of forgiveness purchased for us by the Son of God who died in the place of every person.

The squirming stopped in that place. But you see, that’s what Peter meant when he said that God is not slack in his judgment but that he is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. You see, God has put up with the evil that man does so that there would be time for those who would receive his forgiveness and be saved. And so I think that’s the mystery that is finished.

The mystery of why God would put up and allow evil to go on. God cannot go back on his choice to let man have free choice, so he had to put up with the bad choices of evil men in order to give those who will receive his forgiveness the choice to accept it. You follow me? I hope I’m being clear.

Because I think that’s one of the great mysteries in the Bible. And in this judgment, and Jesus coming to take over possession of the earth, that mystery will be finally made clear. God has now said that’s enough. And he is going to take back the earth.

And the only ones that will be left on this earth will be those who survive physically and are believers. They will have children that will not believe because at the end of a thousand years, there will be a rebellion. But it starts off with all believers. And they forget the mystery.

So I believe that this mighty angel who comes here, now he tells John, he says, go take the little scroll out of the angel’s hand and eat it. It says, it’ll be sweet as honey in your mouth, but it will be sour or bitter in your stomach. And the book is, I believe, the title deed of the earth, but in it also are the things that God must do to make that enforce. And so it’s sweet as honey to realize that there’s a new world coming.

A new world where there’s going to be righteousness and where there’s going to be a chicken in every pot. But it will be bitter when you swallow this and ingest the fact of the horrors that will have to take place for that to happen. Well, that’s my best shot at this. But I believe that all of this is in the making right now.

We are very near the time when Jesus Christ is going to send us mighty angel as ambassador from galaxy h that says, Jesus is coming and he’s taking over.

Let’s try to take as many people with us as we can, okay? Because he’s coming, and he’s going to take us out before this horrible period starts. And that’s the great hope of today.

If you have the guts to be a real revolutionary, come forward right now and accept Jesus Christ as your real revolutionary, and he’ll make a revolutionary that will change lives.

Thank you so much for standing with me as a watchman on the wall. I pray daily that he will reward your faithfulness and protect and prosper you in these difficult times. Thank you again for being a vital part of my team.
